School/Edsby Messaging

LHS has an automated calling system that will inform you of the following:
 
  • Student Absences (dependent on school)
  • Bus cancellations/changes/updates
  • Call or email important messages or events within the school 
  • Important messages or events within the school or division
 

When can I expect to be called, emailed or messaged?

You can expect to be called or emailed the day your child misses any classes. You can also expect to be called or emailed if the school or a school division has a special announcement.
 
Edsby Messaging:
 
Teachers/Staff can send private Edsby messages to students, parents and other staff. Messages in Edsby are never deleted because of the security and compliance reasons unique to K-12. Be aware: administrators can see the contents of Edsby inboxes. Click the envelope icon in the navigation bar to access the inbox and view past messages. Don't forget to set up your message notifications so you are aware when messages arrive in Edsby.
